Cheap, Easy First Info Product

Want to create your first info product, but don’t know where to get started? Recently, lots of people have been recommending doing interviews for your first product. The question is where do you find people to interview? Fortunately there an easy resource to find more people than you could ever exhaust. The name of the site is RTIR.com.

The site lists a vast amount of people wanting to get their name out and willing to do interviews. You interview them and get all the interesting information from them about their area of expertise, then you edit the program and start selling it. They get to plug their own product sometime during the presentation and are exposed to all of your customers. It’s a win-win situation.

The site covers a broad spectrum of topics including (but not limited to): Business Consumer Advice Crime, Law Education Family Issues Health, Fitness History How-To Music New Age Personal Finances Pets Politics Religion Self Help Technology Travel Women’s Issues

To complete your first information product go to RTIR.co and click on the icon “Find A Guest”. On the next screen choose a relevant subject area and you’ll retrieve a listing of all the people wishing to do interviews. Remember - these people are seeking interviews! Clicking on a link “more” under a heading will give you an email address and usually a contact number. Call or email each of the people you wish to interview. If you get even one response, you’ll have started the process of developing your first information product.

Once you have someone to do the interview with, generate a list of questions relevant to the expertise of the guest. Send them a copy of the best questions before hand. Set up a time and date to do the interview and make sure you’re on time! When the time comes, record the call using Skype and PowerGramo Recorder. Ask your questions quickly and try not to suprise your guest with any unexpected questions. Once completed you can begin editing the program using Audacity, create a CD with MagicISO, Nero or Daemon Tools or just leave it as an mp3. If you have a CD upload it to Kunaki and you can start selling it from there immediately. Promote it on your blog or eBay and wait for your first sale. It’s that easy!

It won’t be perfect, but by having an expert in your field answering questions, you will ensure your product is chock full of great, useful information. Plus, it doesn’t have to cost you a penny.

3 Steps To Earn Enough Money To Quit Your Job

Recently my online business has started making enough money to enable me to leave my job and strike out entirely on my own. I have had to work hard to be able to get to this point, but I attribute my ability to leave my job to the 3 things below (they’re things you can do too):

1. Low overhead lifestyle. My wife and I have managed to reduce our expenses to the barest of minimums. We’ve managed to reduce our rent and utilities to zero. Our insurance, petrol and groceries are our largest expenses now and they come in under a grand. It doesn’t take much sales from our business in order to cover those bare necessities. Now we are just looking for products that are base hits instead of home runs. Look to reduce by following the 1 time downside (ie moving) with ongoing upsides (1/2 to 1/4 the cost in rent). Avoid doing things with the opposite costs. Avoid clipping coupons because they incur an ongoing downside with a once off upside.

2. Give yourself time. I’ve had to spend a few hours each day working on the business in order to get to this point. This meant I had to reprioritize a few things. Easy to eliminate things like TV and sleeping in were out. Just those 2 things enabled me to gain the skills I needed to start earning a basic level of income before ever taking the risk of going out on my own.

3. Have a backup. I put in a simple backup plan in place in case everything goes horribly wrong. I plan to go back to my former employers and ask to sign onto a contract for 3-6 months. I am able to earn enough to cover my yearly expenses in that short period and then I would go back out on my own. I made sure I didn’t burn any bridges and I did quality work until the very end, just to make sure I’m welcome back. The backup plan gave me the confidence to strike out on my own knowing I could always take care of my family.

Those are the 3 things I did in order to build my skills and reduce my fears to the point where I confidently struck out on my own. They are really easy to do but they may be emotionally difficult, especially if you are addicted to TV or really tied to a certain area. If striking out on your own is your number 1 priority, doing the 3 things above will speed you on your way.

Marketing Efforts Failing?

Failure to plan is a plan to fail. That was alway drilled into my head during my days in the Army. Do you have a plan for your business? Are you working the plan? If you have no plan or are not working the plan, this could very well be the reason you are failing to succeed in your marketing efforts. I’m going to cover some basic guidelines to help you more efficiently market your blog, website or products.

First, you need to know what things you are going to be doing to market your product. Is it commenting on blogs or forums? Using StumbleUpon or Delicious? Submitting articles? Maybe you’ll optimize for the search engines or use web video sites. Whatever the list compile it into a spreadsheet program. It’s perfectly reasonable to make generic categories for each task because you don’t want to be commenting on forums or blogs every day. It’s terrible inefficient and probably costs you more than you realize.

Now you’ll rank each task. Rank each one on a scale from 1-5 on how important and effective each one is to your marketing goals. People who are focusing on promoting a site via social networking will obviously have different ranks for tasks than a person who is focusing on blogging. Ensure you have a fair distribution of each number. A list of all ones or fives isn’t going to help you plan where to focus your time and effort in the forthcoming month.

Now you construct the plan for the next month. For most people, we can assume four weeks with five working days in each. Now take your ranked list from above and sort it so the fives are on top. Starting from the top, start putting the tasks into your calendar. I suggest you mark off Wednesday for fives as this day is less likely to be missed by long weekends and holidays. Mark the fives down as a task in every week, if you run out of time on Wednesday, put other fives on Tuesday or Thursday. The fours and threes then go more toward the edges of the week and are only done every other week. The twos and ones go on Mondays or Fridays at most once per month. When you’re finished you should be spending the most time on the five ranked tasks and the least on the one ranked tasks.

The next step is to ensure you take action. Put your plan to use. Make sure it’s hanging somewhere you can see it everyday and do the allotted task for the day before you do anything else. Put off checking email, phone messages, surfing, gossiping until the tasks are done. Then you can relax and do some other tasks for the rest of the day. But, only do the task allotted on the days you specify. Do not get caught commenting on forums or blogs on the days when you haven’t allocated the task because these things, while important, are serious time drains.

At the end of the first month, review your plan. Ask yourself, which tasks moved me closer to my goals and which ones did not? Which ones need a while longer to come to fruition and which ones are just complete duds? Go back to your original list and change the rankings for each of your tasks. Then revisit your plan and based on the new rankings, add or delete instances of tasks. Also, if you have issues with writing on Mondays, for example, and those tasks aren’t being accomplished then move those tasks around so they are accomplished. Keep refining your plan month after month and then start outsourcing the tasks making you the most money.

Making a marketing plan isn’t very difficult if you take it step by step. And having a plan is very often the difference between success and failure. So start planning for your success today!

Barter Companies And Small Business Trading

By employing a barter company, you can expand your market territory while maintaining your cash customer base. Competing businesses will bypass normal channels to do business with you. New customers are enticed to your products and services as they seek to save cash by bartering instead.

Barter customers pay retail prices, so you get the full value of your goods and services. Retailers must keep their inventory moving and our customers shop for the most current merchandise each season. Barter Companies will bring you buyers to move excess inventory, eliminating the advertising costs and heavy discounting otherwise needed to accomplish this.

Companies involved in barter trade help you in the sales of your surplus inventory at either the current market price of the product or the price at which you sell to distributors. Thus you are in a position to maintain your current pricing integrity and also enable you to fetch better return on your investment.

Income gained from bartering is viewed the same as cash income, thus bartering has no advantages or disadvantages when it comes to taxes. Trade exchange should, therefore, not be considered a tax tool, but rather a tool for marketing. Barter transactions very commonly involve organizations that have unsold goods on retail.

Companies big and small are now using barter to sell and purchase goods and services. Bartering is the exchange of goods and services without the use of currency. Although bartering has been used in commercial and private transactions since ancient times, its appeal notably increased in the waning years of the 20th century.

Surprisingly, bartering has proved on a worldwide basis to be not only a complement to sophisticated marketplace economies but also a means of survival in moribund economies. In the United States for instance the dollar value of bartered transactions grew at an annual rate of about 16 percent in the eleven years following 1987. Conversely, in corrupted economies, bartering plays an important role in nearly 76 percent of the business transactions involving major companies.

Small businesses practice bartering of goods and services almost every day. This is what is known as small business marketing. Whenever one company makes an agreement to provide some good or service to another company for an exchange of something of similar value, a bartering deal has been made between the businesses.

If you work with a barter company, it will be easier for you to both find a larger target market and to maintain your current loyal customers. Barter companies coordinate the selling of surplus inventory by negotiating for you to receive either the going price in the marketplace or your normal selling price to distributors. Barter income is treated the same as cash income. There are no tax advantages or disadvantages to bartering. Trade exchange should be considered a marketing tool, not a tax tool. Every day, both materials and services are traded between small businesses. In a nutshell, this is small business marketing.

Companies for obvious reasons require capital to continue to operate. The term capital used to mean money literally invested in the company. However, modern management is demonstrating that for a company to stay profitable and continue to grow, it much ensure that it develops and grows its intangible assets. One of these assets is human capital, or the employees which have the ability to perform complex tasks requiring mental ability. Online Business Marketing On The Cheap With Article Marketing

From the Google Keyword Tool, you will see the millions of searches done to a certain keyword. When these keywords are typed on search boxes of search engines, indexed websites containing articles with those keywords will be displayed. And this is what leads traffic to websites with keyword-rich articles. Content is king online and written articles are still the best way to provide indexable content.

Content is king. You can say that again. That is why writing articles is one of the most utilized Internet marketing media today. Internet surfers just can’t get enough of information on various fields. Providing information through these articles is a surefire way to drive hot traffic to your web site.

Why is this so? Here are the benefits that writing articles can give your Internet business.

1. No cost but your time.

Sound too good to be true? It’s not. Well, you do have to pay your internet service provider and the relative value of your time. That’s it though. All you require is your computer and your thoughts. If you have those two things, nothing will stop you from typing up the words to complete an article for your site. Where did you shell out any more money than you’re already spending without writing articles? None, oh maybe the electric bill.

2. Your website will be noticed in a short period of time.

Sending your articles to article directories that receive a lot of traffic will guarantee that in no time your site will be crawled by spiders. You have to remember to include your byline or resource box so the spiders know where to find you!

3. One way links.

When you submit your articles to directories, surely, other websites will make use of your article too. With the copyright terms of your articles, the URL of your website will still be intact and will subsequently direct more traffic to your website.

4. Improve your standing.

As an Internet marketer, if you plainly display your products on your website, you will not gain much conversion rate. Conversion is when your traffic converts to sales. You have to show that you are knowledgeable on your field. And what better way to show that than by writing articles that will allow you some bragging rights, right?

Just make your creative juices flow and jot down or key in those ideas quickly to jumpstart your article writing momentum. With those benefits listed above, a writer’s block is the last problem you will ever be able to surmount.

Trade Exchange: Understanding The Differences

The phrase “trade exchange” is made up of two parts: trade and exchange. If you like, you can think of barter as a basic way to trade. A person can trade cash, credit cards, checks, or other forms of money. Bartering is the act of exchanging goods or services for something other than money.

You will know all this. Now how is the term money defined? Money can be defined as something that serves as a means to swap goods and services. So the moment you use a medium of trade, then you are not actually bartering. This is the fundamental that you have to understand in trade exchange.

Once you begin trade exchange, then you will observe that it is a wonderful mode of doing business. But it has its own drawbacks. In truth, trading without cash is at all times preferable than giving money. But this is relevant only when the associated groups will have what each other requires.

These days, it is quite uncommon. Because of this you need to be aware how to appropriately utilize a /”trade exchange“/. The proper utilization of this will facilitate your ability to trade anything you desire without encountering problems.

A lot of local corporations like I.C.R.E (the International Credit Reserve Exchange) are involved in trade exchange. It works sort of like a credit card company operates. The exchange members are given a trade account (like a bank account) and when they require to trade with another member they don’t really have to have what the other party requires.

The most important advantage to the buyer is that they are in a situation to put aside money needed to make purchases and they can give back the borrowed cash with the score of their additional time and items, normally afterwards and most often with trade gain they would have obtained, because they are part of the exchange.

The advantage to the seller is that they obtain business they generally don’t get and they can collect some variable cash charges and in this way their trading will not get hurt and their cash flow will not get affected. Also they can increase their customer base.

To understand trade exchange first you have to understand the difference between a trade and exchange. In simple terms, barter may be trade or you can say trading; nevertheless the word trade may mean exchange of cash, credit cards, checks, or any other forms of money. Money is anything that is a medium through which good and services are traded. So when you swap something using any medium, you aren’t actually using the exchange system anymore. The main advantage to the purchaser is that they are in a position to save money. A benefit for the seller is that they receive more business.
